Enthusiastic response to ACTIROX at STOM-TOOL in Poland
With around 500 exhibitors and 14,000 visitors from Central and Eastern Europe, STOM-TOOL is one of the largest trade gatherings in the region for the metal processing industry. At Stand 76 in Hall A, VSM presented its new generation of abrasives. With something there to suit every type of grinding task – the numerous trade visitors were able to find out more about the entire range of products and witness the highlights in action in the grinding booth.
Krzysztof Stój, VSM Product Manager with the Polish subsidiary company PFERD-VSM was delighted with the excellent trade fair results: "Visitors were particularly excited about ACTIROX, which is why it also sold so well". VSM ACTIROX is aimed particularly at coarser grinding tasks and sets new standards when it comes to stock removal and grinding speed. The geometrically shaped ceramic grain ensures extremely aggressive grinding and is ideal for alloyed and non-alloyed steels, stainless steel and carbon steel. A recent trial has shown that it is 20 to 30 percent more effective than a familiar product made by a competitor.
Trouble-free grinding of non-ferrous metals
One of the most frustrating problems when grinding non-ferrous metals such as aluminium, bronze or copper is the rapid clogging of the abrasive caused by chip adhesion. VSM STEARATE Plus minimises this chip adhesion by reliably separating the chips from the abrasive. Even after long-term use, it continues to achieve excellent stock removal, with up to twice the stock removal and twice the service life.
For finish grinding, VSM ILUMERON is the perfect choice. When grinding tubes, cylinders, plates or sheet metal, this long-term abrasive from VSM sets a completely new quality benchmark for fine surface finishes with outstanding gloss levels. ILUMERON allows grinding and polishing to take place at the same time, in just one step. This shortens the work processes dramatically and significantly increases productivity. "VSM STEARATE and ILUMERON made an indelible impression on our trade visitors in Kielce", reports Krzysztof Stój with satisfaction.
